After a long season of prayer, Gail and I committed ourselves to full-time missions in December 2010. We expect 2011 to be the year we plant our feet on this new ground. Our vision, for the time being, is to be servant missionaries, seeking to serve other established mission organizations around the world rather than originate a new mission organization with ventures of our own. There are a lot of established mission ministries already out there - we desire to go alongside other missionaries as servants and partners until the Lord leads us differently. We are open to go anywhere in the world to serve, short-term, long-term...we'll see...Have Mission Will Travel...
Barbara, I can’t tell you how great it is to hear from you. Great Question: We need living expenses month to month so we can develop the mission ministry, travel within the U.S. to meet with other missionaries/churches/interested parties. Figure an average monthly household budget that is really cutting corners and pinching penneys – that will be us! AND we need about $1800 per person per trip to Nicaragua; Africa and Russia are more expensive, around $2800 per person. We will help build up funds also with temporary work between missions and our life-coaching ministry which we are continuing to develop and expand.
